Official Rules
Kinetico of West Texas Teacher Giveback
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. Sponsor
The Kinetico of West Texas Teacher Giveback (“Giveaway”) is sponsored by Kinetico of West Texas, 8337 Upland Ave, Lubbock, TX 79424 (“Sponsor”).
2. Giveaway Period
The Giveaway begins at 12:00 a.m. Central Time on Monday, August 31, 2026 and ends at 11:59 p.m. Central Time on Sunday, September 13, 2026 (“Giveaway Period”). Entries received outside the Giveaway Period are not eligible.
3. Eligibility
The Giveaway is open to individuals who, at the time of entry:
- Are at least 18 years of age;
- Are currently employed as an educator by an accredited educational institution located within Lubbock County, Texas;
- Have continuously owned and occupied their current residence for at least two (2) years;
- Own and occupy the Lubbock County residence where the prize would be installed; and
- Are legally able to authorize installation at the property.
For purposes of this Giveaway, an “educator” means a current teacher, instructor, professor, faculty member or other professional whose primary job responsibility is providing instruction to students at an accredited educational institution located within Lubbock County.
Eligible institutions may include primary, secondary and postsecondary educational institutions.
Townhomes and condominiums are eligible provided the entrant owns and occupies the residence and obtains any approvals necessary for installation.
Limit one (1) entry per household.
Employees, officers, owners and immediate family members of Kinetico of West Texas, Beaverbird Media, participating media partners, advertising or promotional agencies involved with the Giveaway, and their respective affiliated companies are not eligible.
4. How to Enter
Eligible participants must complete and submit the official Giveaway registration form at kineticowtx.com/ teacher-giveaway during the Giveaway Period.
Entrants must provide complete and accurate information. Incomplete, duplicate, fraudulent or otherwise ineligible entries may be disqualified.
No purchase is necessary to enter.
5. Prizes
Fifteen (15) eligible entrants will each receive:
One (1) Kinetico reverse osmosis drinking water system with standard professional installation.
The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of each prize is $1,800.
Total ARV of all prizes: $27,000.
Installation is subject to evaluation by Kinetico of West Texas to confirm that the residence, plumbing, water conditions and other site conditions are reasonably suitable for installation.
Any modifications, repairs, construction, specialty plumbing, electrical work or other work outside standard installation are not included unless otherwise approved by Sponsor. If circumstances prevent reasonable standard installation, Sponsor reserves the right to determine an appropriate resolution, including selecting an alternate recipient.
6. Recipient Selection & Notification
Fifteen (15) potential recipients will be selected at random on Monday, September 14, 2026, from all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period.
Odds of being selected depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
Potential recipients will be contacted using the email address or telephone number provided with their entry.
Potential recipients must respond within three (3) business days of notification.
Selection as a potential recipient does not guarantee receipt of a prize. Before being confirmed, each potential recipient must provide reasonable documentation requested by Sponsor to verify eligibility, including:
Proof of current employment as an eligible educator; and
Sponsor may request additional reasonable documentation necessary to verify compliance with these Official Rules.
If a potential recipient cannot be reached, does not respond within the required period, fails to provide requested verification, declines the prize or is determined to be ineligible, Sponsor may select an alternate recipient.
Installation must occur at the eligible residence verified in connection with the recipient’s entry.
Installation will be scheduled directly between Kinetico of West Texas and each confirmed recipient and is subject to reasonable scheduling availability.
Prizes have no cash redemption value and may not be transferred, assigned, resold or exchanged.
Recipients are solely responsible for any federal, state or local taxes or other obligations resulting from acceptance of a prize.
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to photograph, record and/or film the recipient and installation and to use the recipient’s name, likeness, image and voice for reasonable advertising, promotional, social media and public-relations purposes without additional
compensation.
11. Release & Limitation of Liability
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its affiliates, advertising and promotional partners, participating media partners and their respective owners, officers, employees and agents from claims arising out of participation in the Giveaway or acceptance, possession or use of a prize,
except to the extent such liability cannot legally be waived.
Nothing in these Official Rules is intended to waive rights or protections that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable law.
12. General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, provides false or misleading information, attempts to obtain multiple entries in violation of these Official Rules or otherwise acts inconsistently with the intent of the Giveaway.
If circumstances outside Sponsor’s reasonable control materially affect the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the Giveaway, Sponsor reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to modify, suspend or terminate the Giveaway.
Sponsor’s reasonable decisions concerning eligibility, administration and interpretation of these Official Rules are final.
Information submitted through the Giveaway may be used to administer the promotion, verify eligibility, contact entrants and recipients, schedule installation and otherwise fulfill the purposes described in these Official Rules.
The Giveaway and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute arising from the Giveaway will be subject to applicable Texas law and jurisdiction.
